The Board of African Risk Capacity Ltd (ARC) has announced the appointment of David Maslo as interim CEO, effective 16th June 2025.<\/p>\n

\"AfricanMaslo brings a strong combination of actuarial expertise and policy insight to this role.<\/p>\n

He returns to ARC Ltd after serving as Chief Risk Management Officer at the Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility Segregated Portfolio Company (CCRIF SPC), where he oversaw risk management for 30 members across the Caribbean and Central America.<\/p>\n

Under his leadership, CCRIF managed over $1.5 billion in disaster risk and delivered record payouts to member governments and state-owned entities.<\/p>\n

Maslo\u2019s history with the ARC Group began at the ARC Agency, before he joined ARC Ltd as an Underwriter and Financial Analyst.<\/p>\n

He later served as Head of Business Development at ARC, where he played a key role in launching ARC\u2019s non-sovereign business\u2014helping to secure major initiatives such as the REPAIR programme, Malawi\u2019s social protection cover, and pioneering agricultural microinsurance solutions.<\/p>\n
