Swiss Re\u2019s Property & Casualty Reinsurance (P&C Re) business unit has launched a Parametric Centre of Excellence, led by Marcel Andriesse, to unify and enhance the firm\u2019s capabilities in parametric solutions across the organisation.<\/p>\n

According to the firm, the new Parametric Centre of Excellence will be housed within Global Specialty \u2013 Agriculture & Parametric, supported by a dedicated, cross-functional team that will leverage Swiss Re\u2019s combined expertise across the P&C Re business.<\/p>\n
Andriesse is a Senior Agriculture Underwriter with nearly 20 years of experience at Swiss Re.<\/p>\n
He began his career at the firm as an agriculture reinsurance underwriter for Eastern Europe and has since supported insurance companies and farmers across the region.<\/p>\n
