In this role, Braithwaite will play a key part in shaping the strategic direction of Gallagher Re\u2019s North American business and will focus on aligning the company\u2019s regional products with its global strategy.<\/p>\n
Braithwaite brings 20 years of reinsurance industry experience to his new position.<\/p>\n
He joins Gallagher Re after nearly six years at Lockton Re, where he served as a broker, primarily responsible for building out the firm\u2019s U.S. casualty and professional lines treaty reinsurance offering.<\/p>\n
He has extensive experience structuring and placing complex casualty and professional lines accounts for a wide range of clients, with a focus on large national and global accounts.<\/p>\n
Prior to that, Braithwaite spent 14 years at Willis Re, where he was most recently Executive Vice President and a member of the N.A. OpCo.
