He will be responsible for the growth and profitability of these businesses, provide guidance to regional underwriters, and underwrite highly complex coverage for clients.<\/p>\n<p>Tjornelund will report to Ronak Shah, CEO of Wholesale Markets Asia, with a dotted line to Simon Lascelles, Head of Marine, International.<\/p>\n<p>He brings 13 years of experience in the marine insurance sector. Since joining QBE in September 2023, Tjornelund has served as Head of P&amp;I Underwriting, British Marine, Asia, overseeing the management and performance of the [British Marine] Asia P&amp;I portfolio.
