Global insurance broker Acrisure has announced the appointment of Mark Wassersug as Chief Technology Officer and Shawn Pelsinger as Chief Administrative Officer, effective later this month.<\/p>\n

In his new role, Wassersug will lead Acrisure\u2019s information technology initiatives, leveraging his expertise in financial technology, operations, and M&A to support the company\u2019s growth.<\/p>\n

The executive is joining Acrisure following a 22-year tenure at Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, where he most recently served as Chief Operating Officer.<\/p>\n During this time, he oversaw world-class engineering, IT, and operations teams through significant growth, acquisitions, and integrations, while helping ICE scale from a startup to a leading global financial technology firm.<\/p>\n As Chief Administrative Officer, Pelsinger, who is joining Acrisure from Palantir Technologies, will oversee Acrisure\u2019s legal, human resources, and regulatory affairs functions while assisting our business development teams.<\/p>\n During his time at Palantir he served as Global Head of Corporate Development, which included collaborations across diverse sectors such as insurance, financial services, blockchain, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, aviation, telecommunications, and space exploration.<\/p>\n Additionally, he led the creation of Palantir Japan and Palantir Korea both aimed at bringing Palantir\u2019s technology to commercial and government customers in their respective markets.<\/p>\n Prior to Palantir, the executive served as a corporate lawyer at A&O Shearman.<\/p>\n Commenting on his appointment, Pelsinger said: \u201cI\u2019ve been impressed with how Acrisure has transformed both their brand, and the way they\u2019ve evolved their technology and AI capabilities to better service clients across the board.
