With 25 years of experience in reinsurance, Botes brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to his new role.<\/p>\n
The executive is joining Gallagher Re from Santam Re, where he most recently served as Head of Underwriting.<\/p>\n
Prior to that, he was Santam Head of Reinsurance Buying and Head of Santam Re Actuarial.<\/p>\n
Before joining Santam, Botes was Aon Re\u2019s Head of Analytics, a role he held for three years. He also served as CEO of Xtreme Loss Solutions Software, at Guy Carpenter as Broker & Analytics and at Hannover Re, where he was part of the Statistical Services & Treaty Underwriting team.<\/p>\n
