Dale Underwriting Partners, the trading name for Dale Managing Agency Limited’s Lloyd’s Syndicate 1729, has appointed Peter Cordell as Head of North America Casualty, effective January 2026.
In his new role, Cordell will be based in London and will lead the company’s North America Casualty business. He will report to Ian Bridge, Active Underwriter.
Cordell brings over 20 years of insurance industry experience to the position. He joins Dale after spending 12 years at MS Amlin, most recently serving as Head of Treaty Casualty and Financial Lines, overseeing a global portfolio including Casualty Treaty, Trade Credit, Surety, Political Risk, Mortgage, and Cyber Reinsurance.
He began his career at Everest Re, where he served as Specialty Lines Underwriter, responsible for specialty lines Everest Re London.
